Perfect Christmas party venue.
Food was lovely and service very good.
There was a cabaret act, however, could not be seen from the back of the room, which was where we were, they were in floor level rather than any form of stage.
Forbes of Kingennie was the setting for our dream wedding.
We couldn't have asked for anything better. We initially contacted them via email and had a few Zoom meetings. When we finally visited the venue for the first time, we knew it was perfect for our special day. We would like to give a special thanks to Lauren and Aimée for their attentive service, everything was extremely easy with them.
As for the cuisine, every guest was thrilled - it was truly delicious. Extra point They were very considerate of guests with special dietary needs, and even received compliments from them.
I should also mention that they accommodated our entire family, providing spacious accommodations for all of us, and took charge of ensuring everything was perfect.
And it was, without a doubt.
Forbes of Kingennie will always hold a special place in our hearts, for the wedding we celebrated there and for all the love they showed us.

We still had drinks & thought could drink in the bar but were told was closed at 6pm.
We were not told, this when we booked.
This is such a fantastic wedding venue to work with - I deliver that many wedding cakes here that it's almost like my second home. The event staff are always smiley and helpful and go out of their way to help you. It's a great venue for a wedding and the views are beautiful. The event space is a really good size and looks so pretty with the twinkly lights around the beams. Highly recommend
The location was lovely, staff were very helpful under difficult conditions with the recent weather.
Our lodge had a lovely view, but unfortunately, it's all a bit tired and could definitely do with an upgrade. If you are thinking of self-catering, then bring your necessities with you as many self-catering basics are not provided.

Went for a wedding. Bar was very expensive. Bought 4 juices for kids, was £13. I asked one person bringing food out for BBQ and Tomato Sauce for the kids Chicken Nuggets, the look I got, you'd have thought I'd pulled out a gun and robbed him.
Great views, nice staff. Food is excellent and good value - steak pie 10/10
